Quintet is searching for a motivated intern for its Group Corporate Tax and Transfer Pricing team during a period of transformation of the tax function. The department is responsible for tax matters, in which Quintet acts as a corporate taxpayer across all countries where it has presence. Matters in relation to clients or employees are out of scope as are matters in relation to CRS, FATCA, QI, tax relief and tax reclaim. The intern will be supervised and guided by the senior members of the team with extensive experience in the field of international tax and transfer pricing. 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Understand operational aspects of an in-house tax function covering the full lifecycle from design to implementation and defence 
  • Assist with the implementation of an audit trail for tax and transfer pricing purposes in line with OECD’s standards 
  • Support in analysing processes and identifying areas for improvement, streamlining and automation
  • Follow any changes in applicable tax laws and regulations (if applicable during the internship) 

Knowledge and Experience

 

  • Currently pursuing a master’s degree in tax law or tax economics (or other relevant field)
