Quintet has embarked on an ambitious transformation journey and we see process documentation and standardization as a key efficiency enabler, allowing us to find synergies across the Group, evolving towards a more harmonised IT Architecture and ensuring a front-to-back collaborative way of working whilst reducing operational risk. A dedicated function to drive Process Management has been created, and we are currently seeking an experienced Senior candidate to join this team.  


The ideal candidate brings a strong background in project management, specifically within the wealth management/banking, or comparable industry and ideally a previous experience in consulting. The successful candidate will be a strong change agent, with the proven ability to apply continuous improvement tools and methods to simplify processes and eliminate variation, influence senior stakeholders and obtain buy-in to deliver against agreed objectives, deliverables and timeline. He/she will deploy a standard methodology to optimize front-to-back processes across the Group, acting as a multiplier - coaching process owners and experts in the business and supporting them through the  implementation of the new ways of working. This role is a unique opportunity for an impact-driven change leader to drive process excellence and operational transformation through a highly complex business environment across 5 countries– Luxembourg, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and the UK.  

 

Travel across Quintet offices is required punctually. 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Using an established process redesign methodology, drive cross-functional teams to re-design and optimize processes front-to-back to improve client & employee experience, increase efficiency and reduce operational risk 
  • Coach, train, motivate and influence key stakeholders, including process owners, to obtain buy-in on redesigned processes across function and 5 locations 
  • Facilitate change, overcome resistance and induce followership, promote a culture of continuous improvement: be an influential change agent 
  • Identify, plan and deliver innovative and efficient solutions with process owners, incorporating industry best practices and emerging technologies  
  • Establish, apply, and sustain process governance, methodologies, controls, and best practices; and assure and track project progress, resource allocation, and budget adherence 
  • Contribute to the harmonization of our internal control framework, collaborating closely with risk and compliance teams to ensure all key inherent risks & controls are identified and mitigated effectively and efficiently along the process 
  • Translate process enhancements into projects across multiple locations – capture voice of the customer, define project scope, milestones, key dependencies including technological implications, develop project plans, track progress, benchmark performance, identify and escalate risks & issues to senior management 
  • Coach other team members and process owners to deliver against agreed timeline, budget and scope whilst adhering to high quality standards. Demonstrate a strong “can do attitude”, finding solutions to the problems and challenges raised with a hand-on approach.  

Knowledge and Experience

 

  • Master degree in Business Administration or Engineering Sciences  
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in process improvement roles with a proven track record of leading successful process optimization / redesign projects  
  • Previous experience in financial services industry is a must  
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in consulting are is strongly preferred 
  • Banking industry experience: deep expertise in front-to-back (private) banking processes, products and services is crucial. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the banking sector across Europe is also important.
  • Process management: experience in process management, analysing and optimizing business processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and streamline operations is important. 
  • Risk management experience: previous experience in a risk management function designing / performing controls, identifying  & mitigating risks is a strong plus.

  • Data acquisition and analysis: Proficiency in data development and analysis techniques; including the ability to apply professional experience to source difficult- to-capture data points, structure requirements, and use statistical tools to interpret data, identify trends, and track improvements 
  • Problem solving: apply experience to assess, identify, and dive deep into root causes of process inefficiencies and variation, and develop practical solutions.  
  • Strong organisational skills, ability to manage multiple initiatives, whilst balancing overlapping requirements from both a resource and topic perspective, in the most efficient manner. 
  • Communication & collaboration: proven ability to influence and communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation (verbally and in writing). Ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships. 

Technical Skills

 

  • Project management qualifications e.g. Prince 2, PMP 
  • Lean Six Sigma – Black Belt  

Languages Skills

 

  • Fluency in English is a must 
  • French is desired
